After running off the stage during his performance in Hartford, CT on Saturday night, Jason Aldean took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to explain what had transpired.
He told his fans, "Hey what's up everybody? Jason here and this is Sunday, I guess."
Dressed in a gray t-shirt and bill cap emblazoned with a Florida logo, it was evident that Jason Aldean was doing better.
"I've had a lot of people checking on me today after hearing about what happened last night at the show in Connecticut."
When asked about his health he remarked, "I'm doing fine."
It seemed that what had happened was due to a combination of excessive heat from playing golf all day and dehydration.
At first, reports said the vocal artist was experiencing heat stroke; however, Jason stated he did not believe it was quite that severe.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explain heat stroke can evoke feelings of a rapid pulse, queasiness, perspiring, disorientation, and loss of consciousness.
The country star further said, "It was pretty intense last night at the show. Anybody who was at the show last night knows how hot it was."
The humidity in the area was measured at 51%, and true to predictions, the mercury had climbed to 88 degrees.
Despite this, the award-winning country music artist said they were determined to make it through as much of their set as possible.
"I was trying to get through as much of the show as I could," he explained. "I knew it wasn't going to happen and I was trying to just get off stage and figure out what was going on"
A post on the Xfinity Theater's social media channels unveiled the news that the Hartford show would be moved to a later date.
Jason then echoed this information in his own social media video, bidding farewell to fans in the process.
He revealed he was receiving a couple of IVs and continued his unwavering in his commitment to the tour.
Jason let fans know that he will be performing at Saratoga on Sunday and also fulfill the Hartford show at a later date. "Got a show in Saratoga tonight."
His devoted followers were thrilled with the news and eagerly anticipated the upcoming event.
