Matt Damon received help from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez to save his marriage with his wife, Luciana Barroso, a source revealed.

Damon's ups and lows have been the headlines of reports over the past years, including his "almost" split from his wife of 18 years. Amid the buzz, a source recently revisited the event and revealed that the A-list power couple Affleck and Lopez came to the rescue to save the actor's failing marriage.

How Bennifer Helped Matt Damon Revealed

The rumors claimed that the "Green Zone" star's marriage with Barroso was on rocky ground, and Affleck ensured they could save the savable by urging his pal to seek a therapist's help "before it was too late."

A source told National Enquirer (via Radar Online) that Affleck recommended the therapy to Damon as it also helps keep his relationship with Lopez afloat. The singer-actress also pushed the actor to therapy, though she reportedly offered a different reason to convince Damon.

"Jennifer wanted Matt to get into counseling, too, though her reasons were a little selfish!" the source said. "She hoped Matt would shed the bro behavior he shares with Ben and start paying more attention to his wife."

Aside from saving his marriage, Damon reportedly saw the counseling as a way to reconcile with the "On The Floor" hitmaker and became best friends with Affleck again. For what it's worth, rumors claimed that Lopez ruined Damon and Affleck's friendship, and their relationship could only be saved if the "Justice League" actor dumped his now-wife.

Fortunately, it did not happen as things started to thaw between them with the recent interaction.
