Aside from her fierce vocals and playful personality, Lizzo is also known for her head-turning looks whenever she performs on stage. More recently, the musician took the stage at a festival in Japan and one cosplayer seemingly implied that the pop star's styling team copied her look.

A cosplayer took to her Twitter account to share a photo of herself along with a video of Lizzo performing on stage for the Fuji Rock Festival at Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Japan.

In the caption, the user asked if Lizzo and her team were inspired by a Sailor Moon look that she did before.

The person was talking about the animated character's mid-transformation where she was surrounded by a pink bow and ribbons throughout her body before her final stage.

The tweet was gone hours after posting, but other fans called out the cosplayer as the look has been done by other creators before.

Lizzo's Sailor Moon-Inspired Look Defended by Twitter Users

Although the original tweet is not accessible anymore and the cosplayer made her profile private, the replies could still be seen.

Most users called out the original post as the look she was talking about has already been created by other cosplay fans before.

"Seems like people have been cosplaying as this for years...at least 2012 apparently," one wrote.

"Your cosplay is WONDERFULLY executed and you look beautiful, but you are not the first and won't be the last to do this concept," another one wrote.

The user then noted that Lizzo herself is a fan of anime in general and Sailor Moon.

"I don't personally feel that the girl who asked Lizzo if she was inspired by her Sailor Moon cosplay was owed anything. Why would she be? It doesn't make sense on any level. Sailor Moon isn't hers," one expressed.

As of this writing, Lizzo has yet to address the matter.
