Britney Spears may seem happy in her relationship online as she sometimes shares how she and her husband, Sam Asghari, spend time and love each other, there have been recent reports that the two are already separated and are headed to a divorce.

Since the pop singer is one of the most successful singers of all time in the music industry, many people are wondering what will happen to her money if ever the divorce pushes through in the future; check out all the answers below.

According to a source who spoke with Page Six after Spears and Asghari got married in June 2022, the couple both "signed a prenup" and the agreement was reportedly "in favor" of the singer.

It also appears that whatever the "Gimme More" hitmaker made before she became Asghari's wife will remain the same as the insider added, "Any money she made before the wedding is protected."

The news comes amid reports of Spears and Asghari's separation circulating around the internet. An insider spoke to a news outlet to reveal that the singer had cheated on her husband.

Following the issue of infidelity, the actor reportedly confronted his wife which led to a big argument between them.

"It's only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce," one source claimed.

Asghari has also reportedly moved out of the property where the couple once resided. As of this writing, Britney Spears has yet to address the matter on her social media pages.

Sam Asghari wasn't Britney Spears' first husband as she previously got married in the past.

According to UsWeekly Magazine, the musician first tied the knot with her first husband, Jason Alexander, in 2004. However, their relationship was short-lived as it only lasted for more than a day.

The two were reportedly childhood friends and after partying in Las Vegas that year, they decided to get married at the Little White Wedding Chapel, but their marriage was annulled after 55 hours.

After her separation from Alexander, the singer later got married to her backup dancer, Kevin Federline, and they share two children together named Jayden James and Sean Preston.

Their relationship didn't last as they got divorced in 2007.
