The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards is coming in hot on Sep. 12, 2023, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Hosted by rapper Saweetie, the 2023 MTV VMAs has announced more of its performers on the pre-show, and the presenters of the awards.

2023 MTV VMAs Presenters

According to MTV, the list of the presenters at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards will be star-studded.

Among those are Ice Spice, model Emily Ratajkowski, Charli D'Amelio and Dixie D'Amelio, Coco Jones, Bebe Rexha, rapper French Montana, actress Madelyn Cline, Sabrina Carpenter, Jared Leto, Rita Ora, and GloRilla.

Notably, GloRilla and Ice Spice are both nominated for Best New Artist, as the former is also nominated for Best HipHop with Cardi B in their video "Tomorrow 2," while Ice Spice is a Push Performance nominee for "Princess Diana" with Nicki Minaj.

2023 MTV VMAs Performers

In a report from People Magazine, it was said that a Doritos extended stage will be mounted for the MTV VMAs Preshow.

Sabrina Carpenter, rapper NLE Choppa, Kallii, The Warning, and Renee Rapp, were announced to be the performers of the MTV VMAs Preshow. Saweetiee, Ness Nitty, Dometti Pongo, and Kevan Kenney, will be hosting the preshow.

Meanwhile, the main show also features a star-studded lineup of performers too. First announced were Maneskin, Karol G, Demi Lovato, Annitta, Kelsea Ballerini, Lil Wayne, Stray Kids, Tomorrow x Together, and Doja Cat.

Sean "Diddy" Combs was announced to be receiving the MTV Global Icon Award - an award only given to Foo Fighters and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the past.

On the other hand, this year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award will be given to Shakira. She is the first artist of South American descent to win the award. She is also the sixth female artist in the past six years to have won the prestigious award.

Taylor Swift leads the pack of nominees with eleven awards, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year, SZA follows with eight nods, while Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat, BLACKPINK, and Olivia Rodrigo took home six nominations each.

Burger King will be presenting this year's Video of the Year Award to any of the following acts: Doja Cat's "Attention," Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girl," Olivia Rodrigo's "Vampire," Sam Smith and Kim Petras' "Unholy," SZA's "Kill Bill," or Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero."
