Rumors of an NSYNC reunion are seemingly stalled due to Justin Timberlake's demands for a large portion of the tour profits.

According to reports from The National Enquirer, the group faces difficulties because of it.

When NSYNC graced the stage at the MTV Awards, fans were ecstatic, anticipating a full-fledged reunion tour on the horizon.

Little did they know, there was tension brewing underneath as Justin Timberlake reportedly wanted a more significant proportion of compensation for his contribution.

The National Enquirer reported that a source claimed: "There would be no comeback, no tour, and no money unless Justin was involved."

According to this individual, the other four members, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Joey Fantone, have yet to find much success apart from the group, so it is logical for Justin to receive more.

After their memorable reunion at the award show, rumors about NSYNC's potential tour were sparked.

According to reports, Justin Timberlake was gunning for a hefty 80% of the net profits from the venture.

However, this has happened before in recent years, when talks of reviving the iconic boy band have come up.

Rumors of an NSYNC reunion have been circulating for a while, and Justin Timberlake appears to be the one standing in the way.

The source further suggested that Lance Bass and other members of NSYNC are keen to hit the road again and make new music, but Timberlake is preventing this from happening.

As was reported by the source, Justin had put a lot of effort into establishing himself as an individual musician and was not interested in revisiting his past.

At the outset, the insider made it clear that Justin wouldn't be joining them at the reunion. "It's entirely up to them," they said, "Justin won't be involved."

In 2017, the band reunited for their Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony. The presence of all members created a sensation, and everyone felt as though this could lead to a possible tour - yet those hopes were dashed soon after.

Regardless, caution should be exercised when assessing this report as it has yet to be substantiated whether Justin Timberlake is the reason why an NSYNC reunion tour is being held up.
