Directioners were left confused and infuriated after a fake One Direction tour concert went viral.
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik have yet to make a reunion - or the four active members - since they went on a hiatus in 2015. They sparked rumors over the past few years, but nothing major has happened yet.
One Direction 2024 Tour Is a Hoax
On social media websites, including Facebook, a One Direction Reunion World Tour 2024 poster went viral, showing photos of all the five members. The hoax poster also showed the text "LIVE NATION PRESENTS" and the continents where the group would reportedly visit for the reunion world tour.
The source of the fake poster remains unknown.
Meanwhile, commenters expressed different reactions, with most of them sharing that it is not something to joke about.
"I'm sorry but please don't joke about this," one said. "I know this isn't real but my heart skipped a beat."
Another wrote, "You got me excited. That's what I get for seeing the pic before the caption."
"Probably due to the fact that I'm 50 but I would much rather just see Harry solo. His music is amazing. Like all of it. I love every solo song he has. The rest of the boys in my opinion have maybe 1 or 2 songs I like but nothing beats Harry!!!!" another added.

If ever the reunion would happen one day, One Direction's former vocal coach said it would be impossible to see all five members on one stage again.
Speaking with Metro UK, vocal coach Ali Tennant said the members would need to have a long and big discussion before a potential comeback since it would need them to have their love for fans and each member to make it happen.
He added that only four members - excluding Malik - might proceed with it in the future.
"Zayn is kind of excluded from the love for some reason, so I don't know if it will ever fully happen," the former vocal coach said. "You might see a one-off tour with the four of them, but I can't see the five of them coming back - I can't see that, and Zayn is now getting himself back together and putting his own thing together now."
