Singing the national anthem have always brought people on social media in a debate. Whether the singer performed it well or not, people seemed to love going online and trolling the singer for it.
In Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks' recent game, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has been invited to perform "Star Spangled Banner" in front of everyone.

In the video shared by The Shade Room, the legendary rapper can be seen struggling to find the right pitch and tempo in singing the national anthem.
Flavor Flav's off-key delivery had people in stitches on social media, and they were relentless in their comments.

"had to put my tv on mute ngl," a user wrote on Twitter/X.
"This is so cringe! This doesn't do America justice. I just had flashbacks to Fergie doing the national anthem but this is worse! Just give us Stapleton!" another commented.
"He makes Fergie looks like prime Micheal Jackson," someone chimed in.
However, not everyone had bad things to say about Flavor Flav and gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Fergie 'Star Spangled Banner' Performance
While Flavor Flav's "Star Spangled Banner" performance seemed to be the talk of the town today, it was Fergie's rendition of the national anthem that seemed to have been etched into nationwide consciousness.
Fergie's high-pitched and unusual delivery of the national anthem piqued the interest and backlash of both of her critics and fans alike.
Infamously, Fergie performed the National Anthem on the 2018 NBA All-Star Game, where she got laughs from the players and other people on the venue at the time.
"I think the players all held it together pretty well considering I'd have been on the floor if I were there," a user said.
