New photos from Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's outing showed how the actress handled her husband's frustration as they looked tense after a seemingly heated exchange.
Lopez and Affleck appeared in public together during a shopping date in St. Bart's. In photos shared by The Mirror, the couple can be seen checking out jewelry with the "On The Floor" singer trying out some of the pieces.
But at one point during the outing, the "Justice League" actor was spotted looking so frustrated while Lopez offered an unexpected response to him.

A body language expert explained the couple's actions and Affleck's display of "confusion, frustration or anxiety."
"His emotional 'state' appears to veer from looking like the kind of engaged and supportive partner that any girl would love to share a shopping outing with as he studies the necklace she has put on and even photographs it to get a better view of how it looks, to using the kind of dramatic raised hand gestures and head-touching rituals with eyes closed that would normally be associated with confusion, frustration or anxiety," Judi James told The Mirror.
She added that Lopez kept her cool while her husband grew frustrated over something.
Meanwhile, despite Affleck's negative feelings, the actor reportedly managed to keep his serious look, with his "more dramatic hand gestures and facial expressions do tend to be in contrast to Jen's more experienced-looking signals of studied calm."
Fortunately, they seemingly fixed things immediately as they soon posed for selfies and shared a kiss in public.

It was not the first time they sparked rumors about a public feud.
When Lopez and Affleck appeared at the premiere of her movie, "Mother," paparazzi photos captured the pair looking like they were arguing on the red carpet. However, a representative for the couple dismissed the claims and uploaded a video of the interaction to show them the "full version."
A lip reader also told the Daily Mail that Lopez and Affleck's conversation was mostly about their poses for pictures. At one point, Lopez asked her husband if her top was showing too much; Affleck then told her not to worry before she asked him to come close to her.
