Insiders believe that although Ben Affleck would prefer more solitude, he knows that his wife 'loves' being snapped, which is why the two are 'butting heads' over being photographed in public.
This is the reason for their often angry confrontations.
The 51-year-old actor, who has a tense relationship with photographers, is frequently seen with a dejected expression on his face and making frantic gestures at the 54-year-old singer.
When asked about their alleged furious encounters at the Sunday night Golden Globes, Lopez asserted that her husband is "happy." She was also awkwardly asked how she knew this was her "last" marriage.
However, an insider seemed to permanently dispel the rumor, saying exclusively to DailyMail.com that the two are actually okay.

The insider further explained, "It is just one part of his day that he dreads, and often times it seeps into his everyday life and it ends up looking like he is upset with the people he is with or his surroundings, when it is actually just some photographers that are just jerks."
"Ben doesn't like red-carpet photos or being snapped by photographers when they are out doing regular life. He knows Jen loves it, so it does put them at odds at times, but they eventually fall back to a place with each other to be happy," the insider further added.
Despite being a celebrity himself, Affleck never got comfy with being followed around, especially when he's with his wife. Thing is, Lopez is very comfortable with it! This makes him hates to be around her.
The insider said, "Navigating the life they live as a celebrity couple can be trying sometimes because Ben just wants to go to a restaurant or get coffee and be done with it and just have more privacy - but Jen is all about it."
"So, they butt heads there but it isn't in any way ruining their relationship... They are really in a good place."
Ben is doing okay, Lopez said to Entertainment Tonight in response to a question concerning his somewhat depressing photos. She said he's actually relaxed.
The couple recently raised eyebrows when they were seen appearing tense on December 30 while shopping in the upscale stores of Gustavia, the capital of St. Barts.
The Pearl Harbor star threw his hands in the air and appeared frustrated as he assisted his spouse in trying on Bulgari pieces while she sat next to him. But then it seemed like they were kissing and making up, as Lopez cuddled her husband for a number of Instagram selfies.
Maybe there really is nothing to worry about.
