    Those in the gaming community are familiar with Razer and their products that range from console controllers, high-end laptops and PC peripherals to help players get a leg up on their competition. Now they are looking to give bedroom and aspiring producers that same advantage by launching Razer Music, which is partnering with the some of the biggest names in electronic music and hip-hop production including deadmau5, Metro Boomin, Dyro and Feed Me to give tutorials on how to create the latest beat, mix hi-hats, or layer synths.

    It has been a tough summer for Toronto EDM festivals. The second day of VELD Music Festival, Sunday Aug. 2, was canceled only a few hours in due to extreme weather. The festival announced the bad news on Twitter yesterday after evacuating the grounds for a few hours. Djs like Hardwell, Above & Beyond, Duke Dumont, Laidback Luke, Hot Since 82, Oliver Heldens, Mark Knight and others were all scheduled to perform before the festival was canceled.
