    Kathy Griffin is the second host to flee from the sinking ship that is E!'s Fashion Police. It almost seemed inevitable once she started making comments about how pathetic it is that Giuliana Rancic needs someone to write her red carpet jokes for her. It was the kind of statement that comes from someone who just quit their job and is able to be a little more honest. Griffin confirmed her departure yesterday on Twitter, after surviving only seven episodes of Fashion Police.

    We have to wonder if everyone at E! is regretting deciding to keep 'Fashion Police' on the air after Joan Rivers's death in September. The show was a clear-cut success and the ratings were great last summer, as Rivers managed to take a floundering show about critiquing fashion and turn it into a hit. Even if people did not care about the red carpet, they would tune it to hear Rivers in action. While it was a nice idea to keep the show going in the iconic comedienne's memory, it is clearly not working. Not only is 'Fashion Police' falling apart and sinking in the ratings, but the battleground that had been kept behind closed doors has now tumbled out into the press as well.

    After a week of turbulence behind the scenes it has been confirmed that Kelly Osbourne has left E!'s Fashion Police after a five year run. The young star has been grabbing headlines all week for deciding to purposely set herself apart from former co-host, Giuliana Rancic, rather than having her back. Rancic messed up during the network's Oscar night red carpet coverage and claimed that Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks likely smelled of patchouli oil and weed. The comments were initially seen as inappropriate, bordering on racist and Osbourne quickly took to her social media to make sure that everyone knew that she didn't support Rancic's comments. That move may have ultimately cost her this gig.
