Simpson is being touted as a companion series to the extremely successful American Horror Story which airs on FX. American Crime Story will take a popular crime story that made national headlines and captivated the public, then spend an entire season going behind the scenes and looking at it from different perspectives. FX has ordered the first season- ten episodes which will focus on the O.J. Simpson trial.
