When that notion first started circulating last week, it was quickly squashed as just a rumor, but the fact is that the floundering chatfest needs a real shot in the arm if there is any hope of it being renewed for another season. Jenny McCarthy recently confirmed that one year after leaving, producers failed to convince her to return to the show, and there are not too many other names even being mentioned. As it turns out, Barbara Walters is pushing hard for Lewinsky to join the show in any capacity.
