• Finnish Pop Star Isac Elliot Records 1D Demo 'Just Can't Let Her Go' [WATCH]

    One Direction fans heard the demo for "Just Can't Let Her Go," given the fan name at the time "I Just Can't Let Her Go," last summer and exploded in excitement. The minute and a half version that leaked out sounded rough but still kept fans satisfied for a brief moment until they received further world about "Midnight Memories." The song did not make the cut for the album, but apparently it was recorded by a teenage pop sensation from Finland named Isac Elliot Lundén, known professionally as Isac Elliot, via "Popcrush."

    "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" is a holiday tradition thath as been around since the 1970s. Unfortunately, the show's namesake died in 2012, but Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy have been carrying on the tradition ever since. This year will be bigger than ever, with more than five hours of music planned, featuring acts like Taylor Swift, One Direction and Elton John. The pair dished on what they are looking forward to the most tomorrow night, Dec. 31, during a press conference. "I think there are two incredible live moments that we're going to have here in New York. One is Taylor Swift celebrating the incredible year that she's had, live," Seacrest said, "Billboard" noted. "And then we're going out to Barclays Center [in Brooklyn] to Elton John, who will be standing by. This show has been going for decades, and this is the first time he's been on our show, so that's exciting for us." McCarthy added, "The fact that we've got so many artists this year makes it feel like it will be the best year yet. At rehearsals yesterday, the producers said, 'Without a doubt, this is our favorite show.'" Florida Georgia Line, Idina Menzel, MAGIC!, Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX, Meghan Trainor, Lady Antebellum and Gavin DeGraw are also set to perform.

While One Direction took the number one spot in ticket sales for their touring this year, George Strait and Luke Bryan were right behind the boy band. Justin Timberlake locked down the fourth slot, and even he had a big country year, performing with Garth Brooks in Nashville.

    Taylor Swift's "1989" moved back into the No. 1 spot on the "Billboard" 200, bringing its total, nonconsecutive weeks at the top to six. It sold 375,000 copies last week, bringing the total for the year to 3.34 million. The record is on pace to overtake the "Frozen" soundtrack, which sold 3.46 million so far. Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" sits comfortably at the No. 2 spot, "Billboard" notes. Swift is tied with Mariah Carey for total weeks at No. 1 with 30. Only one other woman has them beat with 46: Whitney Houston. The Beatles are still in first for all artists with 132 weeks at No. 1. Pentatonix has the No. 3 spot with "That's Christmas to Me." Minaj was able to crack the top 10 recently, and D'Angelo's new "Black Messiah" hit No. 5. "The Pinkprint" did not perform as well as the artist's previous effort "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded." The former sold 244,000 in its first week while the latter hit 253,000 — it also debuted at No. 1.

To help make Directioners and fans of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon aware that Santa is, in fact, coming to town, the "Night Changes" band teamed up with Fallon and The Roots last night (Dec. 22) to play, you guessed it, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on classroom instruments.

    British boy band superstars One Direction are gearing up for the TV special airing Tuesday, Dec. 23 on NBC at 8 p.m. and have released another teaser to get Directioners excited about the show. Fittingly titled One Direction: The Special, the TV spot will give fans a behind-the-scenes look into 1D on the road, in the studio and on stage, giving fans a more intimate look at the characters and personalities of their favorite artists. The band posted a clip of them playing the ballad "Little Things" from their 2012 studio album Take Me Home at Orlando's Universal Resort on their Youtube channel as a special teaser to the show.

    One Direction was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" Dec. 20, and the boys brought their A-games. Despite being on a holiday-filled show, 1D opted to give fans a double serving of their new album "Four." They performed "Night Changes" and "Ready to Run." The fellas melted a lot of hearts in the process. As "Rolling Stone" notes, "Night Changes" worked well on the dimly lit stage inside Studio 8H. The harmonies soared and each member got to shine at different times. Check out the performance below. The boys also got involved elsewhere in the show, joining Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong on "Girlfriends Talk Show." They portrayed a high-school dance team. Hilarity ensured. "SNL" just announced that Kevin Hart will be the first host after the holiday break, on Jan. 17. No musical acts have been announced yet.
