The trend continued in the United States during 2014 as The Wall Street Journal reports that sales for the format were up 49 percent from 2013-a huge, huge increase-translating to roughly 8 million vinyl records sold during 2014. Lana Del Rey will hit the road in May for the Endless Summer Tour in support of her newest album "Ultraviolence," which came out in June. Courtney Love will join the "Born to Die" singer for the first half of the jaunt, with another opener slated to take over at the May 28 gig in Indiana — to be announced. Love is putting together a new solo record that is expected in 2015, "Consequence of Sound" reported. Rey's "Ultraviolence" made it to No. 1 on the "Billboard" 200 chart as well as the Top Tastemaker Albums list. The album, produced by The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach, includes singles like "Shades of Cool," "West Coast" and the title track. It was met with generally positive reviews.
