In 2013, Justin Bieber's pet monkey, OG Mally, was detained in Germany during the pop singer's world tour, where it remains to this day because he did not make an effort to retrieve the pet. Despite this, he doesn't seem to be "Sorry" about this incident, and has told GQ Magazine in his recent cover story issue that he really did love the primate pet. He also said that he is open to getting another pet monkey in the future! In response to this portion of the interview, the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance (NAPSA) released an official statement pleading with Bieber to rethink this idea. -

British actor Joseph Fiennes was recently cast in a comedic TV movie in the UK as music icon Michael Jackson. No, these two people do not share the same skin color, which is obviously making this project very scandalous. While Fiennes admits that he understands the backlash of a white actor portraying an African-American in a production, this week he came to his own defense, claiming that the TV special is satirical, so, you know, who cares? Clearly, a lot of people care, so we're basically counting down until the 45-year-old white actor quits this project. -
Nas to Release J Dilla Album 'The Diary' from 2002 on Mass Appeal Records
Nas announced this week that Mass Appeal Records is going to release a posthumous album of late rapper J Dilla on April 15, 2016. During his guest appearance on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, the MC revealed that the record, entitled The Diary, features production work by Dilla himself, Madlib, Pete Rock, Hi-tek, Nottz, House Shoes, Karriem Riggins, among others, with songs featuring Snoop Dogg, Bilal, Frank and Dank, Nottz and Boogie. The Diary was recorded in 2002, and Nas shared the first single, "The Introduction" this week. You can check out the tracklist below. -
