• 'The Voice' Season 9 Recap, Review: Teams Cut in Half in Brutal Elimination Results

    There was a major bloodbath on The Voice on Wednesday night (Nov. 11). This week, 24 singers performed, but for week two of the live playoffs, there are only 12 performance slots. Yes, the show cut its field properly in half. Previously, letting two of five singers go was painful but not a punch to the gut. This season, with the new comeback artist twist, this is just brutal.

    Digital pop star Hatsune Miku has announced her first North American headlining tour, Miku Expo 2016. For the uninitiated, the Japanese star is a computer-generated avatar that sings with the help of a synthesizer and performs with a backing band consisting of human musicians. The animated character is more than a performing hologram: fans can use her synthesized voice to create their own songs.

    This week, Miami rapper Trick Daddy stoped by NYC's Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club for a candid interview.     X-Men: Apocalypse, the highly anticipated sequel to Bryan Singer's Days of Future Past, has a release date set for May 27, 2016, but we haven't seen a trailer for the movie yet - unless you attended the San Diego Comic-Con this year or watched the leaked footage from the panel. This week however, co-writer Simon Kinberg announced that the first trailer for the film will accompany the highly anticipated Dec. 18 theater premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will also feature the first footage of Captain America: Civil War.
