They have been touring on the back of their new album Days Gone By and were tabbed by Ellen to perform the LP track "Tearing Me Up."

  • Proposed Bill for Registry of Philly Bands Threatens Music Scene

    Something pretty scary is happening in the music world, and we're not talking about Kanye West's Twitter rant. Philadelphia City Councilman Mark Squilla has this week proposed a bill that would require local and touring bands, rappers, DJs, et. performing in the city to submit their personal information to a registry for use in Police work. If you are a musician, whether you're from the City of Brotherly Love (like me!) or not, this is a huge threat to the music scene that is incredibly vibrant and exciting. Singles "Bottoms Up," "Small Town Throwdown," "One Hell of an Amen" and "Stone Cold Sober" were a great success for Gilbert, and he is considering releasing a fifth single to add to them.     Alexandre Pato, the Brazilian footballer currently on loan from Corinthians at São Paulo, has reportedly confirmed the Chelsea FC transfer rumors that have surrounded his name this month. Though the Premier League team has yet to officially announce the news, Pato himself told reporters in London that he's coming to England on loan. No word yet on his actual contract or how long he'll be with the team, but he is definitely excited about the transfer.

The company that produced the fragrance, Perfumania Holdings Inc., is allegedly suing Jay Z, real name Shawn Carter, for $18 million due to a huge drop in product revenue last year.
