    Since Oprah Winfrey joined forces with Weight Watchers in a business collaboration, things have been looking up for the company and it's stock. On Tuesday, WInfrey proved just how influential she is for the company's marketing strategy when she posted a Twitter message about her weight loss, increasing Weight Watchers' stock by 16%.

    Fox hit show 'Empire' may have some competition around the corner from Timbaland and La La Anthony. The two are set to partner with Leftfield Entertainment for a real life hip-hop docuseries in the vein of Empire. Anthony will be named executive producer with CEO David George, Will Nothacker and Derek Gordon of Leftfield Entertainment, while Timbaland will be executive producer of music on the show.

    BBC Radio 1 was thrown into flux when their head of music George Ergatoudis announced in December that he was leaving the radio station to Spotify to head a new music division in the UK. The search for his replacement has ended and BBC has chosen former head of music for Last.fm Chris Price to take the same position at BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra.
