Young Jeezy Wins $5 Million CTE Lawsuit Filed By Former Manager
After a three-year long legal battle, rapper Young Jeezy has emerged victorious in his lawsuit filed by his former manager, Demetrius "Kinky B" Ellerbee. "Kinky B" claims Jeezy withheld money owed to him for helping to build and manage the career of the rapper Da Snowman. The finale of the lawsuit took place on October 30th as, TMZ reports, and Jeezy was acquitted of any wrongdoing. As XXL reports, Elleberbee, the official filer of the suit at the Fulton County Superior Court in 2012, claimed he deserved compensation for the co-foundation and assistance in managing Corporate Thugz Entertainment (CTE) group and that he's "entitled to half of all royalties, advances and distributions. -
Over 120,000 People Want Raven-Symoné to Quit 'The View'; ABC Responds
Fans are fed up with the continuous controversial and generally negative comments that have come out of actress Raven-Symoné's mouth this year. The outspoken cohost of "The View" rubbed people the wrong way after she voiced her opinion about a South Carolina resource officer who slammed a female student to the ground. Her most recent comments might have been the last straw for viewers, because there is currently a petition with over 120,000 signatures urging her to quit the show. Despite the outpour of people asking her to step down, ABC seems to feel the complete opposite. -

Something as simple as declining a selfie with R&B artist Jesse Graham has resulted in her being sued for $42 million dollars over song rights. The singer claims that the chorus of her 2014 song, "Shake It Off," from the '1989' album is far too similar to his song "Haters Gone Hate," which was released in 2013. -

Kesha Rose Sebert's legal battles against her former producer, Dr. Luke, show no signs of slowing down. Last month, Sebert requested a preliminary injunction against her accused abuser in order to compel a judge to rule of the validity of her recording contracts. This past Friday (Oct. 30) her lawyer filed an injunction that would permit Sebert to record new music without Dr. Luke or his Kemosabe label, where she is currently under contract. -
