  • Nicki Minaj Gives Maya Angelou’s 'Still I Rise' a Powerful Reading at A&E Concert Special

    Nicki Minaj may be best known for her rapping prowess, but that has translated well to her poetry reading abilities. On Friday night (Nov. 20), A&E will air the concert special Shining A Light: A Concert for Progress on Race in America, in hopes to bring this country's racial relations to the forefront. And, in a teaser for the program, the "Anaconda" rapper recites the classic Maya Angelou poem "Still I Rise," and does so with a sense of dignity and power.
