• Freddie Mercury Biopic: Sacha Baron Cohen Will Write, Direct and Star in Film About Queen Singer

    Queen's manager, Jim Beach, recently confirmed that comedian Sacha Baron Cohen will not only portray deceased frontman Freddie Mercury in a biopic, but he will also write and direct the film. Cohen and the surviving members -- guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor -- have sorted out their differences and will move forward with the movie. Beach made the announcement during a speech at the Artist and Manager Awards earlier this week.

    The nightmare is finally over for Amanda Knox and her ex-lover Raffaele Sollecito who both staunchly maintained their innocence while being dragged through the Italian court system over the grisly murder of British college student, Meredith Kercher eight years ago. Both have been convicted, acquitted, convicted again only to be acquitted by Italy's highest court yesterday. This last judgment will stand and Knox has now officially done time for a crime that even the court system agrees that she didn't commit.

    Scott Disick has become infamous for his hard partying, bad-boy behavior on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and while it might be amusing to watch him in action onscreen, he has to be very difficult to deal with in real life. Disick recently checked himself into a Costa Rican rehab facility and just 7 days later, he was spotted partying in a club with the locals. This weekend, he is back to hosting at 1OAK in Vegas and his ability to stay sober is dicey at best. Various outlets have also reported that baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian, has had enough of Disick's partying and that at the very least, the two are leading very separate lives.

The new dates are surrounded by a slew of other shows including Virginia Beach's Patriotic Festival May 29, Columbus's Buckeye Country Superfest and Harrington's Delaware Junction Festival.

As Billboard notes, Johnson does not have gigs scheduled for May 12 or 13 when the finale of Season 14 of American Idol will premiere, so we'll most likely see the singer on the show.

Nguyen limped out of the venue and said that security did not help her.
