The Empire Original Soundtrack works great as a soundtrack to a musical soap opera. Outside of the show's context, most of the songs wouldn't have much commercial viability in today's market. So the show could definitely benefit from following current production trends in today's mainstream. The songs that are able to stand on their own usually don't blatantly follow the show's storyline. However, the vocal performances shine through on each song, proving that these cast members have a lot of musical talent. -

After days of scandal swirling around her, Hillary Clinton finally decided that it was in her best interest to address the scandal surrounding her email head-on today, March 10. She has conceded that it would have been in her best interest to only use her governmental email account while serving as U.S. secretary of state, but also insists that she did nothing to compromise security or her position by using a different server. It has been confirmed that she has turned more than 55,000 pages of documents for scrutiny to see exactly which details were shared over an unsecured server. She said she used the private email for "convenience," not deception. -

Led Zeppelin Concert Film Trailer Features 'Kashmir', 'Immigrant Song' and 'Black Dog' [WATCH]
A concert film highlighting some of Led Zeppelin's gigs throughout the 1970s is due out at the end of the month. Fathom Events, in collaboration with Swan Song and Atlantic Records, put together the two-hour film, which hits select theaters Mar. 30. The Roots recently announced the lineup for their 2015 festival. The Eighth Annual Roots Picnic takes place May 30 at the Festival Pier in their hometown of Philadelphia. Along with The "Tonight Show" band, Erykah Badu, The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky will headline the event.
