It has been nearly four months since Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and GS9 were arrested on a litany of various charges varying from reckless endangerment, conspiracy, weapons possession and possession of drug paraphernalia (intent to sell and possession). News about the case has gone cold over the past two months, but today the "Hot N*gga" rapper and his associates now have news about when they will have their day in court. According to XXL, Bobby Shmurda, real name Ackquiille Pollard and Rowdy Rebel were given a June 25 hearing to begin their trial. -

Teenage Time Killers, a.k.a the punk/metal supergroup you've been waiting for, has announced its debut album. Titled Greatest Hits Vol. 1, the LP is due out July 21 via Rise Records. The band was formed by Corrosion of Conformity's Reed Mullin along with My Ruin guitarist Mick Murphy and producer John "Lou" Lousteau. The band now features rock icons such as Dave Grohl and Pat Smear of Foo Fighters, Nick Oliveri, Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio/Blink-182, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Jello Biafra of The Dead Kennedys, Randy Blythe from Lamb of God, Tommy Victor of Prong and Danzig, Lee Ving of Fear, Mike "IX" Williams of Eyehategod, and many others, as previously reported. -
Composer Rob Simonsen on 'Age of Adaline,' Working With Roland Emmerich and The Ambience That Connects Them All
Rob Simonsen has been one of the hottest names among composers you don't know by name...yet. He scored last year's acclaimed Foxcatcher, created the theme song for Apple's iPhone 5 campaign and was named by The Hollywood Reporter as among the "next" film composers to join the A-list. He's recently wrapped up work on the scores for both 'The Age of Adaline' (due in theaters this Friday) as well as Roland Emmerich's forthcoming Stonewall, and he took a few minutes to chat with Music Times about his processes on both.
