  • "Shake It Off" Taylor Swift to Get 50th Anniversary ACM Milestone Award With Reba, Miranda Lambert [LIST]

    "Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift will be among the influential honorees to receive a special country music milestone award at the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards next month. According to 'Rolling Stone,' the singer will join other record-setting artists -- including Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn -- to receive a 50th Anniversary Milestone Award. This award is aimed to commemorate their achievements in ACM Awards history.

    Pitbull has joined a group of big names such as Eminem, Bruce Springsteen, Tiesto and others in the ranks of having his own SiriusXM satellite radio channel. Globalization, the name of the new outlet (and the rapper's last album), will hit the airwaves on May 19. The station will feature a range of music that appeals to "Mr. Worldwide," from his Cuban-American influences to his American hip-hop favorites.

According to the report, Apple is attempting to rebrand and totally overhaul is own streaming platforms to compete with other services like Spotify.
