  • A New Casting Call for Season 7 of 'RHONJ' Is Out: Who Will Be Fired to Make Room?

    Awhile ago we learned that the TV network Bravo was conducting focus groups to try and figure out what to do with the show "RHONJ." Now that Teresa Giudice is settled behind bars for the next year, the show will need a major overhaul if it is going to continue, and now it looks like the network is taking steps toward giving it exactly that. A new casting call went out for Season 7 of the show, proving that changes are underway.

    English pianist Mark Bebbington will present “You Don’t Have to Be Jewish," a concert about Jewish musicians and the Jewish influence. The concert will present the world premiere of four lost works by pianist Harriet Cohen. George Gerswhin's songbook as well as works by Debussy, Arthur Bliss and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco will also be presented.

    Opera Atelier, the busiest touring opera company in North America, has announced that it will be regularly appearing at the Royal Opera at the Palace of Versailles in France every other season.
  • Kanye West Premieres "Only One" Music Video, Talks Kim Kardashian, North West and New Album on 'Ellen'

    Ellen DeGeneres continues to celebrate her birthday week with some of the biggest celebrities in the business, and there are still few names that are arguably bigger than Kanye West. Today (Jan. 29), the "FourFiveSeconds" rapper appeared on Ellen to talk about his new calm demeanor, his family with Kim Kardashian and to tease the Spike Jonze-directed music video for "Only One," starring none only than his adorable daughter North West.
  • Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler Arrested After Drunken Bar Fight in California

    Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler is as feisty as ever. The musician was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 27, after getting into a drunken bar fight in California. Police charged the 65-year-old with misdemeanor assault, public intoxication and vandalism. Butler was taken to jail and released after he detoxed and was cited, "Rolling Stone" noted.
  • Kenny G Suggests He Influenced Introduction of Frappuccinos at Starbucks in Video Promoting New Album

    Kenny G recently revealed himself to be the reason why Starbucks added Frappuccinos to its menus, possibly to one-up Marilyn Manson's claims that he invented the term "grunge." A recent interview with Bloomberg "proved" Kenny to be more than just a smooth saxophone player but a savvy (coffee) tastemaker as well.
  • Confirmed New Docuseries That Chronicles Bruce Jenner's Sex Change Will Begin Airing in May or June

    It is really going to happen, and probably sooner than anyone expected. Kim Kardashian incited anger this week from Brody Jenner for simply confirming that his father is on a "journey," but now it has been confirmed that we are going to hear about Bruce Jenner's transforming journey straight from him. As it turns out, the Olympic champion has been filming footage for quite a while. The new docuseries will chronicle his sex change and air in May or June.
  • SoundExchange Payouts Reach Record High During 2014, Pandora, Sirius Payouts Could Approach $1 Billion in 2015

    Internet radio royalty payouts were at their highest mark ever during 2014 (surprising to no one), totaling more than $773 million over the year, according to SoundExchange. SoundExchange was created during 2003 to collect and distribute earnings gathered from non-terrestrial radio forms such as internet, satellite and cable radio and has seen constant growth every year since.
  • Nicki Minaj's Ex-Boyfriend Safaree Samuels Says He Didn't Ghostwrite For Her

    The end of 2014 was very personal for Nicki Minaj as she bore all to the world about her love life and how it influenced her over the process of creating her latest album The Pinkprint. The man at the center of this, her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, who became embroiled in controversy after he gave an interview with the Breakfast Club and made comments that insinuated that he had written some of Minaj's music. There were those who questioned his claims from the start as a possible publicity stunt to remain in the spotlight or help launch something of his own, but he has taken to twitter to clear up the whole matter. Samuels has admitted that he did not ghostwrite for Minaj because she was too smart and did not need someone like him to write music for her. See the tweets below.
  • Bobby Shmurda Reportedly Will Still Face Brooklyn Gun Charge From June 2014 Incident

    Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, is being thrown back into the fire just after it appeared the "Hot N***a" rapper had caught a break. A few days ago, it was reported and confirmed by Shmurda's attorney Howard Greenberg that Pollard would have one of the gun charges against him dismissed. According to a report in "XXL," which spoke to Kait Cornell of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor's Office, this was only temporary and the charges are now being brought up in the larger narcotics case from a June 2014 incident.
