Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, a documentary examining the life and artistry of the iconic Nirvana frontman, will debut at the Sundance Film Festival later this month. It will premiere on HBO May 4, according to a new press release, and will feature "previously unheard originals" by the singer. Director Brett Morgen worked with everyone from Cobain's former girlfriend, Courtney Love, to the musician's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, who is also an executive producer on the project. -

Skrillex likes to do things differently. Whether it is building crazy spaceships, creating new sounds that everyone will copy or playing superjams at Bonnaroo with a ridiculous array of guests, the "Dirty Vibe" producer is always looking forward. This past summer, in 2014, he hosted one of the infamous "Superjams" at Bonnaroo where he brought out a myriad of guests ranging from artists in hip hop, rock and soul for one of the most varied and eclectic jams the festival had seen in quite a while. Skrillex even stepped out from behind the DJ booth to pick up his guitar and play some notes, as he has been known to do at other performances and as a part of his former band, From First To Last. Bonnaroo and AT&T have teamed up to put together a new documentary about the superjam and they have just released the trailer for it. -

One of the United States's most iconic outdoor music venues, Red Rocks Amphitheater, in Morrison, Colorado is undergoing another set of rule changes to its regulations for noise levels that emanate from the concerts that take place there. Denver officials outlined new rules that will apply to various levels of sounds of sounds, notably bass levels and late night performance times that have been at the heart of Morrison resident's complaints. -

The trailer for the full, hour-long musical has been released featuring the various artists as cartoon characters, including Tyler, The Creator as a poodle, JB Smooth as a cop and Erykah Badu as a parrot/muscular-woman hybrid. -
