• Garth Brooks Going Big during Record-Breaking 'Today Show' Appearance January 8; Does Performer Have Big Tour Plans to Announce?

    Garth Brooks had a fairly accomplished 2014: He released a new album, Man Against Machine—which we suspect may have gone platinum...if only his website would report digital sales for the album—and he also set personal concert sales records at nearly every venue he visited during the tour supporting that album. Now he'll start off 2015 with a bang, scheduled to appear on the Today Show on January 8, which itself will be of note because he's due to appear throughout the entirety of the four-hour program.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker Reteaming with HBO for New 'Divorce' Comedy

    Is it time for Sarah Jessica Parker to return to the small screen on a regular basis? Well, 10 years after the popular "Sex and the City" ended its six-year run on HBO, Parker is ready to do television again. She is also close to inking a new deal that would bring her back to HBO, the pay channel that was home to "SATC."The show that has sparked Parker's interest in returning to television is a comedy called Divorce. According to "The Hollywood Reporter":"'Divorce' centers on a middle-aged woman (Parker), who, influenced by her two recently single friends, impulsively brings up the idea of divorce with her husband but then can't decide whether to actually go through with it — until her husband discovers the affair she's been having and calls the marriage off."Parker would not only star in the potential half-hour show, but she would also serve as an executive producer alongside Sharon Horgan, Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan. The project itself must be well-done for Parker to even consider doing it because, inevitably, her potential work here would be compared to that of "SATC."

  • Founder and Artistic Director Dame Fanny Waterman Stepping Down after 53 Years with Leeds International Piano Competition

    The Leeds International Piano Competition will look at least a little different during 2016. After this year's event during August and September, Dame Fanny Waterman will be stepping down from her traditional role as the artistic director for the music contest. She and her husband Geoffrey de Keyser, as well as accomplished pianist Marion Thorpe, founded the Leeds Competition during 1961. Although her husband died during 2001, she has maintained her role in the competition and will serve one last time during 2015. She is 94 years old.

A few days after having their third child, Disick turned up wasted at a Hollywood lingerie party, proving that a new baby was not going to alter his ways.So the question, then, is whether or not Kardashian has decided to take care of the kids herself and has kicked her man to the curb yet again.

  • All Ten Seasons of 'Friends' Now Available on Netflix

    New Year's Day is here, and what better way to spend it than binge-watching a favorite new show or, better yet, an old one? Fans of "Friends" are no doubt hunkering down for a marathon today because the popular sitcom staple of the 1990s has begun streaming on Netflix. Not only has the SVOD company acquired all 10 seasons, but it also has several lost episodes that have never been seen anywhere before.Apparently, near the end of the series's original run, scenes were filmed that featured Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) actually giving romance a try. While producers eventually decided to keep them as platonic roommates, those alternate scenes exist and Netflix viewers will get to see them. It is not like the show has been completely under wraps since ending in 2004. It garnered an average 20 million viewers for each of the 10 years that it ran on NBC, meaning it has been golden in the land of syndication. TBS currently runs episodes nearly every day and so do several local affiliates across the country.

    Though Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky hasn't been as busy during 2014 as many of his peers have been, he's intent on having the last word on the entire year with his long-awaited new track "Pretty Flacko 2," produced by Nez & Rio, which you can check out below. As its title suggests, the song is a sequel to Rocky's track "Pretty Flacko," which was released almost exactly two years ago on Jan. 1, 2012. Rocky debuted "Pretty Flacko 2" about two months ago at a show in London, and since then it's become one of the year's most anticipated singles.
