    Eminem's "Detroit Vs. Everybody" just got a 16-minute, 15-person remix. The original was led by Detroit rap ambassador Eminem and features Big Sean, DeJ Loaf, Royce Da 5'9" and Danny Brown. Now the Statik Selektah-produced track gets a remix from a crew of Detroit rappers: Trick Trick, Guilty Simpson, Black Milk, Sino, Marv Won, Payroll, Hydro, Boldy James, Big Gov, Kid Vishis, Big Herk, Icewear Vezzo, Detroit Che, Calicoe and Denzel the Hitman, according to "Complex."The original was featured on Eminem's label Shadyville Records's compilation "Shady XV," which debuted at No. 3 on the "Billboard" Top 200 albums chart, selling 138,000 copies in its first week, according to "The Detroit News."As expected with this many rappers on this one track, there will be plenty of one liners and love for Detroit. They all look to one-up each other on how tough the streets of Detroit are and their ability to represent them and live that lifestyle.

  • Jeezy Cleared of Weapons Charges Stemming from August Arrest

    Jeezy will be able to sleep a lot better tonight. He has officially been cleared of his weapons charges after the prosecutor said there was not enough evidence to support the case, according to ABC News. The charges stem from a raid on his tour bus while he was performing at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, alongside Wiz Khalifa on the Under the Influence Tour. There had been a fatal shooting backstage at the concert and Irvine PD raided Jeezy's bus in connection to it, while looking for weapons they found an assault rifle they believed to be his. He as well as several members of his entourage were charged with gun possession. The "Seen It All" rapper has announced today that he was cleared of all charges stemming from the incident in California.Jeezy released the following statement regarding the event."I pray this had nothing to do with race, but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence. Words cannot express how vindicated I feel with these charges being dismissed today," Jeezy said in a statement. "While my team and I always knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts, the rush to judgment by both the media and the police has been extremely disappointing. I'm relieved that the truth has ultimately prevailed and I would like to thank those who have always stood by me, including my family and fans."

    "GQ" recently named Jimmy Page its Rock God of the Year for 2014. The former Led Zeppelin guitarist sat down with the magazine to talk about his storied past and unknown future. Page talked about Robert Plant and how he generally reacts to the singer's comments about Led Zep. The legendary axeman also addressed his drug use during the band's reign in the 1970s.After being asked about why Plant seems to be so disinterested in the work he did with Zeppelin, Page responded with a lengthy explanation."Sometimes I raise my eyebrows at the things he says, but that's all I can say about it. I don't make a point to read what he says about Zeppelin. But people will read me things he has said, and I will usually say, 'Are you sure you're quoting him correctly?' It's always a little surprising. But I can't answer for him. I have a respect for the work of everyone in the band. I can't be dismissive of the work we did together. I sort of know what he's doing. But I don't fully understand it," he said.Page added that he chooses not to send messages about the band to Plant through the media.The guitarist also fielded questions about Led Zep and its relationship to drugs."I couldn't comment on that, just like I wouldn't comment on the relationship between Zeppelin's audience and drugs," he said. "But of course you wouldn't ask me that. You wouldn't ask me what the climate was like at the time. The climate in the 1970s was different than it is now. Now it's a drinking culture. It wasn't so much like that then."
