• Pirate Bay Shut Down, Maybe for Good, Following Police Raid in Stockholm; New Costa Rican Address Revealed?

    Has The Pirate Bay finally received its black spot? Conjecture seems to suggest that the "world's most notorious" pirating site may be done for good following a police raid on Tuesday. Swedish authorities entered a computer server hall in Stockholm with a warrant, although a spokesperson for the force didn't suggest whether any arrests were made in connection to the raid. The Pirate Bay website is now down accordingly.

    Everyone has heard it. Whether or not you like electronic music or not, you know Darude "Sandstorm." For better or for worse, it has been one of the most iconic songs in electronic music since it was first released 15 years ago. "Sandstorm" has also become the butt of just about every music joke on the nether regions of the internet -- a testament to its popularity. It got over during the past ten days when Peking Duk did a sit down with Sandstorm at Stereosonic Sydney and the video of the ensuing madness with tens of thousands going wild went viral.

    One Direction recently went on Dutch TV to promote their new artist album 1D and after an interview with host Humberto Tan on RLT Late Night. They discuss a whole range of topics including their upcoming tour, success and Four, but also get a special surprise from Dutch DJ/producer Nicky Romero. The host had apparently asked Romero to pick out a song on the album of his liking and make a special edit of it just for show. Nicky Romero chose "18" and played the single remix for them on TV.

The main issue is between Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. Page is for a reunion, Plant is against one. John Paul Jones probably doesn't care anymore.     A popular Atlanta strip club DJ has been arrested for hiring his best friend to murder his wife. Andre Jason Pugh, known as DJ Awesome throughout the city and at Oynx adult entertainment venue, has been charged in a murder-for-hire plot. Pugh allegedly hired his childhood friend, Adrian Harley, to kill his wife and then make it look like an attempted robbery-gone-wrong.

    Kaskade, otherwise known as Ryan Raddon, has released the music video for his latest single, "A Little More," featuring a pair of Scandinavians -- producer / DJ John Dahlbäck and Finnish singer Sansa. The video finds a lone vacationer who believes he is on his way to his beloved Hawaii (as evidenced by the touristy "I Love Hawaii" shirt) ends up somewhere very, very far away from the warm and easy-going Hawaii islands. Instead his flight takes him to a cold place where people do not respond to his many "Alohas" and his attire of Hawaiian shirts and shorts leave him grossly under equipped for the weather.
