• J. Cole Dropping New Mixtape, EP In Addition To '2014 Forest Hills Drive'? Instagram Post Ignites Rumors [PHOTO]

    J. Cole is set to drop his third LP, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, on Dec. 9. The album is named after the last home he lived in as a child in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. No singles or videos will precede the release, though some lucky fans will get to hear the album early at Cole's childhood home. However, that isn't all Cole has up his sleeve for fans. The Roc Nation rapper gave fans a sneak peek of his iTunes library in a photo posted to Instagram, revealing that he already has songs recorded for his EP series Truly Yours and a sequel to Dreamville's last mixtape titled Revenge of The Dreamers. The photo is also starting rumors of potential Chance the Rapper and Wale collaborations, stemming from playlists titled "wale" and "a cole chance."

The "Stranglehold" singer took the side on Wilson, saying justice was served for the whole ordeal that took place in August. Other artists like Macklemore, Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry expressed their displeasure with the verdict previously.

    Wu-Tang Clan will drop its sixth studio album, A Better Tomorrow, on Dec. 2, but anxious fans can stream the record now on YouTube. It's been seven years since RZA, Ghostface Killah and Method Man all collaborated on an album (2007's 8 Diagrams). Despite feuding between leaders Raekwon and RZA, the group managed to work out its problems and finish the album, releasing the singles "Ruckus in B Minor," "Ron O'Neal," "Keep Watch" and "Necklace" previously.

The "No Flex Zone" stars create a haunting video that flips back and forth between clips of them at a live show, performing in front of a large crowd in a venue with an abandoned warehouse feel, where the duo and there crew have bottled brought to them as if they were VIPs in a club and then outside with their crew rapping near their cars on a dark rainy night.

The Official Charts Company (similar to our own Nielsen Soundscan) has reported that the nation has sold more than one million copies of vinyl records thus far during 2014, marking the first time since 1996 that a million copies of the format have been sold in the region.

  • DVBBS DJ Chris Arrested On Marijuana Possession In Atlanta

    Last night after a thanksgiving eve bash in Atlanta on the Blackout Music Tour, Christopher Robert Van Den Hoef, or Chris, of the Canadian DJ duo DVBBS was arrested in his Atlanta hotel room for possession of pot. The duo had performed alongside 2Chainz, Jowell & Randy and Popeska. According to reports, their set was played to a pretty sparse crowd due to miscommunication over set times and DVBBS decided to cut it short. They then returned to their hotel room for their traditional nightcap as leaders of the "Woozy Gang" and were met by some rather unaccommodating police officers.
