Remember when part of the magical effect that the Kardashian family had on people was the ability to make fans jealous? It really did seem, at least for a little while, that life as a member of Kris Jenner's extended family would be simply amazing. Now, a few years after the bottom began falling out, even the most die-hard of fans know otherwise. It was all an illusion especially created for reality television and, unfortunately, Jenner's true reality seems to get more dismal by the week. After confirming that she is dating 25-year-old Corey Gamble, even her kids are refusing to come home for Thanksgiving!Kendall and Kylie Jenner were especially crushed by Kris's divorce from their father Bruce Jenner, and they often side with him. According to Radar Online, both girls are refusing to even deal with their mom's new man and will be spending the holiday with their father. Kourtney Kardashian's relationship with Scott Disick is a mess, so they are passing on Kris's invite. Khloé and Rob Kardashian are both unpredictable and dealing with their own issues, so they are likely to stay away, too. The only family members who are confirmed to be spending Thanksgiving at the family compound are Kim Kardashian and her little family, and that is likely because they still live there! -

Jimmy Kimmel and Meghan Trainor Get Thanksgiving Carols Industry Rolling with Skit Full of New Holiday Classics from "All About That Bass" Performer
It's like they were reading our minds: We're of the mind that even discussing Christmas shouldn't begin until Santa has rolled up in his sleigh at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and that Thanksgiving has gotten the raw deal as a holiday as retailers and your overzealous neighbors roll out their Christmas decorations earlier and earlier. What can help fix the problem? Thanksgiving carols of course! Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has teamed up with Meghan Trainor to deliver the goods. -
Sinead O'Connor Defends 'Do They Know It's Christmas?," Tells Critics to 'Shut the F--k Up'
Last week, on Nov. 17, the latest version of Band Aid's classic charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" was released online to raise money for the Ebola crisis in West Africa, and though it went straight to the top of the U.K. charts and is supporting an undoubtedly good cause, the song has been the subject of plenty of criticism, particularly for its lyrics.According to two British newspapers, Emeli Sandé, who actually appears on the latest version, said the lyrics need "changing," while Lily Allen called the song "a bit smug" and said she would prefer "donating actual money."One artist who is vigorously defending the song, however, is the famously outspoken Sinead O'Connor, who also appears on the song."I think everyone should shut the f--k up," O'Connor told "Broadsheet," via "Billboard." "If you didn't like the lyrics you shouldn't have agreed to sing the song. I think it's smug of Lily Allen to say it's smug." -
On the Notion of Performing in Concert Halls and Car Parks, Bob Riley and the Manchester Camerata Say 'So Be It'
As Joshua Bell has proven to us already, a venue is merely a concept. In the case of the Manchester Camerata, Bob Riley writes that the orchestra is "constantly challenging" how they engage with audiences. Thus, he concludes, "if that means we perform in a grand concert hall one day, and a car park the next, so be it." -
Jennifer Aniston's 'Cake' Shut Out of Independent Spirit Award Nominations
This is supposed to be Jennifer Aniston's year. She decided to get really brave and un-pretty for her new role in Cake, in which she plays a depressed chronic pain sufferer. It is actually exactly the kind of part she needed to take in order to prove that she could portray someone other than a character similar to Rachel Green from "Friends" on the big screen. Aniston has won over audiences that have already seen her new indie flick — so much so that Oscar buzz has been swirling like crazy around her. That is why it comes as a semi-shock that Cake did not grab even a single nomination for the 2015 Independent Spirit Awards. The list of nominations was released yesterday, and Aniston was not in it. The Independent Spirit Awards nomination list is what technically kicks off awards season, and everything from this point on is just another step toward Oscar. Aniston, after months of Hollywood invisibility, has really been hitting the bricks to promote Cake. She has even shown up for various parties that are considered necessary to attend if you want the Academy to take you seriously. -

Music Industry and Indie Retailers Clash over Universal Album Release Date: Would Monday or Friday Work Best?
An issue that music fans outside of the industry rarely think about is what day works best for releasing music? We in the United States have been comfortable with Tuesday as the weekly release time for most albums, however other nations have taken other approaches: The UK gets its new albums a day earlier, on Mondays, while Australia gets them relatively late on Fridays. Why does it matter? Those involved in the industry around the world feel that a universal release date-the same for every country-would make promotions and preventing piracy easier. The problem is different parties can't decide on which day would work best. -
Migos's Quavo Addresses Chief Keef GBE Chain Robbery in 'The Truth' [LISTEN]
A beef that started with a song has now returned to the craft that both parties espouse as their way of life. Migos and Chief Keef are back at it after Keef's GBE crew reportedly jumped Migos after their show in Washington, D.C., at the club Stadium. The fight, described as a "bloodbath" by a source at "Allhiphop," has since spilled over into social media and thankfully nowhere else. Now Quavo has released a song titled "The Truth" calling out the people who took his chain, calling them "little boy" numerous times throughout the tune.Quavo claims to know who took his chain and where they live, saying "we got your address and we know your name."He starts off the song with a phone call with a friend who tells him that Fat Trel from D.C. was involved in the robbery and took his chain. Quavo delivers his warning to his foes for stealing his chain, belittling them in the process. Quavo tells his side of the story of how the chain was stolen and forewarns that this fight is not nearly over yet — they should crawl into a "spider hole":Little boy don't play with meDo you know who I am?Little boy don't play with me -
Thanksgiving Parody: Elementary Students Sing Garth Brooks's 'I Got Friends in Low Places' as 'I Hate Yams in All Places' [LISTEN]
There is nothing like a good, old-fashioned Thanksgiving parody. DJ Richie Philips at WGNA in Albany, New York, got some elementary school students to sing about their least favorite holiday dish: yams. The kicker? The song is titled "I Hate Yams in All Places" and it is set to the tune of a little ditty made famous by Garth Brooks called "I've Got Friends in Low Places," Taste of Country notes."It's Thanksgiving Day, there's food that we hate / There's also some foods that we like," the children sing, trying to nail down the melody. "When it's all on my dish, and they serve me fish / I'd rather be out on my bike."The students really give it their all in the video below, and it all comes to a climax at the reworked chorus."I hate yams in all places / I'd rather chew on my shoelaces / But it's only right to be polite / It's only right to tell my mother / Feed those yams to my brother," they sing. -
ABC News Gets Exclusive First Interview with Ferguson's Darren Wilson
Less than 24 hours after learning that there would be no indictment in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, we were all handed embattled Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson's first interview. While it was confirmed that Wilson had met with several journalists last week, he ultimately decided to speak on the record with ABC News heavyweight George Stephanopoulos, according to Yahoo! News.It was the first time Wilson has been seen in public in months, and he told his side of what happened during that violent altercation with Brown Aug. 9. According to "Time" magazine, Wilson claims that he feels like his conscience is cleared because he was doing his job by the book, and if he did not stop Brown, then he knew he would have been killed by him. He also made it clear that from his standpoint race was irrelevant and it would have ended the same way even if Brown had been white.
