Anna Wintour Says That Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Are Not 'Deeply Tasteful'
Remember when Kim Kardashian was granted her fondest wish and graced the cover of "Vogue" with Kanye West and their daughter North West? At the time she seemed to think that this one photo shoot was proof that she had gone from Ray J's dirty sex tape to a real class act. Getting Anna Wintour's seal of approval for that "Vogue" shoot meant everything, but now it seems Kardashian might have read into it all a little too much.Wintour was speaking at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Monday, Nov. 17, and when asked about that infamous cover, she staunchly defended her decision to have Kardashian and her family grace it, but she also let her reason for doing so slip and it is a zinger, according to the "Daily Mail."Wintour talked about needing to, at times, make "Vogue" edgy and create some buzz for it to keep up with current pop culture."I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us. It's very important that people do talk about us. The first celebrity that I put on the cover of "Vogue" was Madonna, and that was considered completely controversial at the time, too. It's such a long time ago probably no one remembers, but she was a very controversial figure. Now she's part of the establishment." said Wintour in the "Mail.". -

Check out five of the biggest acts that the northern half of the Korean peninsula claims for its own. -
The Kremlin Is Ready to Rave with DJ Fenix at the Musicbox Awards Tonight [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]
The Kremlin is known for its two noticeable features: the distinctly Russian Orthodox architecture and the power that emanates from the seat of power it has held since it was built in the 13th century. Tonight, however, there will be a grand party — the Musicbox Awards — to celebrate the music from around the former Soviet countries at the Kremlin, and noted Russian disc jockey DJ Fenix will be on hand to play. This will be the first time a DJ has performed at an event like this in Russia, especially at the Kremlin. DJ Fenix knows the significance of this, calling it "very important for the EDM industry and DJs."DJ Fenix, born Alexander Mamoniv, is familiar with the big stage. He has been DJ-ing for more then a decade around Europe and performed at Moscow's fashion week earlier in the year. His upbringing in a military family and as an Olympic volleyball player gave him valuable experience in being disciplined and how to treat your body right by "not taking any drugs, eating healthy and not drinking much alcohol."He hangs with some Russian heavyweights, like Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, whom he met out while playing clubs in Moscow. Fenix said rather matter-of-factly, "We are friends because we are fans of the same team." -
Flying Lotus Shares New Song 'Medication Meditation' Featuring Krayzie Bone from 'Grand Theft Auto V' [LISTEN]
Yesterday, Nov. 18, saw the re-release of "Grand Theft Auto V" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and among its many new features are 162 new songs across its 17 fictional radio stations. Today, experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus shared one of his contributions to the game's new soundtrack, a moody and intense track titled "Medication Meditation" featuring Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, which you can check out below but the artwork above. The track is a stark difference from FlyLo's most recent album "You're Dead!" Instead of being highly complex and jazz-inflected, this is much more traditionally hip-hop, in no small part due to Krayzie Bone's wildly energetic verses. Being a Flying Lotus track, however, it still does not sound anything like your typical 2014 hip-hop single. -
NBC's 'Today' in Turmoil as Rumors Circulate That Natalie Morales and Willie Geist Have Already Been Fired: Savannah Guthrie Could Be Next
The real story of what is going on behind the scenes at NBC's "Today" seems to depend on who you talk to, but one thing is for sure: It is not pretty. On Monday night, Nov. 17, the network confirmed that Jamie Horowitz, who was brought in less than three months ago as the morning show's general manager, had been fired. Horowitz was originally hired to make changes that would help Today climb back to the top of the ratings, but he was met with hostility from nearly everyone when he tried to implement changes.According to a report by Page Six, Matt Lauer found out that Horowitz was gearing up to get rid of Natalie Morales, Willie Geist and even his co-host Savannah Guthrie. Lauer then went to NBC's top brass in protest and had Horowitz fired, proving he really is ultimately in charge of major Today decisions. -

Tracy Morgan's Career in Doubt While He Attempts to Recover from a Severe Brain Injury
Five months after actor-comedian Tracy Morgan's limo bus was struck by a speeding Wal-Mart truck on the way back from a gig at a Delaware casino, we are learning more details about the devastating accident. Morgan is thought to be fortunate to have survived the accident that killed fellow comedian James McNair because he suffered a subdural hematoma, which kept him comatose with bleeding around his brain.Morgan and three others have filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart, and attorneys for both sides met behind closed doors yesterday. Morgan's attorney, Benedict Morelli, gave the press an update on Morgan's condition and a realistic view of his prognosis."He's fighting to get better, and if there's a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he's going to try to do that. He's still fighting and trying to live his life at the same time and trying to get better, and he's just not better. We're hoping and praying to get him back to where he was. But the jury's out. He had a very, very bad brain injury. Let's assume for a moment that he can go back and do everything that he was able to do before. When is that going to be? A year from now? Two? Three? I don't know. Six months? I doubt it," said Morelli.
