Nearly three weeks ago, 15-year-old Jaylen Fryberg opened fire on five of his closest friends in the cafeteria in Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington state, killing all but one of them, Nate Hatch. Zoe Galasso died at the scene, as did Fryberg of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Over the last few weeks, Gia Soriano, Shaylee Chuckulnaskit and Andrew Fryberg have all died from their injuries, leaving the community in a continued state of grief. Police decided to release some of the 911 tapes from calls made from those close to the scene on that fateful morning so we can all get an idea of how traumatic it was. -
Kid Rock Announces New 'First Kiss' Album, 'Cowboy' Singer to Tour Summer 2015
Kid Rock dropped the release date for his 10th studio album, "First Kiss," yesterday, Nov. 12. The "Cowboy" singer's follow-up to 2012's "Rebel Soul" will be out Feb. 24 with a tour planned for summer 2015."First Kiss signals the continued evolution of one of music's most versatile performers," reads a press release, "Billboard" noted. "But we're not going to tell you what it sounds like — we just couldn't do it justice and we're confident the music will speak for itself."The entertainer produced a majority of "First Kiss" himself following his last U.S. tour in 2013. Reps for Kid Rock promised that details on a summer tour would be announced soon. In the meantime, fans can catch the rocker on his Chillin' the Most Cruise in March. -
Lorde Performs Cover of Jeremih's 'Don't Tell 'Em' for BBC [WATCH]
Lorde has proven herself to be a big fan of R&B and hip-hop, having covered Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" in concert and cutting a song with Stromae, Pusha T and Q-Tip for the upcoming "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" soundtrack. For her performance on BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge," the "Royals" singer once again flaunted her love of those genres by performing a cover of Jeremih's recent hit "Don't Tell 'Em," which you can check out below."I have basically been a really big fan of this song since I first started hearing it around," Lorde told BBC, via "Pitchfork." "I love the vocal melodies. I think they're really smart and just consider them cool. Stereosonic Finalizes 2014 Lineup With Hundreds Of New Additions
Australian dance music festival, Stereosonic has finalized all additions to the 2014 edition. It already announced the headliners over the summer when tickets when on sale. Some of those headliners who will travel along the 5-date festival tour include, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Skrillex, Alesso, Carl Cox, W&W, DJ Snake, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Disclosure, Diplo and many others. Now the festival has rounded the full lineup with primarily local acts to keep an Australian flavor to the festival. -
Justin Bieber Unfollows "The Heart Wants What It Wants" Singer Selena Gomez On Instagram
Justin Bieber is very selective of who he follows on Instagram. He follows an intimate group of people including Drake, Kendall Jenner, and Cody Simpson with a total of 45 on his list. Because of this, his Beliebers take notice when that number goes up or down. On Wednesday, his list went down one follower to 44. As J-14 points out, Bieber was no longer following his on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez on the social media site. Gasp! -

D'Angelo Announces 'The Second Coming' Tour, New Music Possibly On The Way [FULL SCHEDULE]
Famously reclusive R&B singer, D'Angelo, has announced a brief run of European tour dates in February and March 2015, which he has dubbed "The Second Coming" tour. The tour will kick off in Zurich on Feb. 11 and finish up on March 7 in Brussels. No announcements have yet been made for a North American tour, but we can all keep our fingers crossed. U2 frontman Bono experienced a scary turn of events in the early morning hours today (Nov. 13) when a door from his private jet blew off mid-flight. The "Beautiful Day" singer and the rest of the crew landed safely in Germany shortly after the incident. -

Garth Brooks returned to recording with "Man Against Machine" Tuesday, Nov. 11, making the release his first since 2001's "Scarecrow." Now that he is back in the public eye, Brooks decided to join Twitter and Facebook to connect with fans, and "The Dance" singer's first-day numbers are pretty staggering.According to "CMT News," Brooks joined Twitter the morning of his album's release date, posting a selfie that currently boasts 2,141 retweets and 4,993 favorites. By Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 12, the country icon amassed 69,000 followers, which CMT figured out amounted to 45 followers every minute. As of today, Nov. 13, Brooks has more than 77,000 followers, but only follows nine people. Wife Trisha Yearwood and Brad Paisley made the cut, as well as actor Chris Pratt, "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts — whom the singer brought to tears with a tender rendition of "Mom" — and TV personality Ellen DeGeneres. -

John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival Defends Bruce Springsteen's Concert for Valor Performance of 'Fortunate Son'
At Tuesday's Concert for Valor in Washington, D.C., Nov. 11, Bruce Springsteen stirred up plenty of controversy when he performed Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 anti-war classic "Fortunate Son" alongside Dave Grohl and Zac Brown, with many conservative critics saying that the song's message was disrespectful to the veterans that the concert was honoring. In response to the outcry, CCR frontman John Fogerty, writer of "Fortunate Son," has released a statement defending Springsteen's performance."'Fortunate Son' is a song I wrote during the Vietnam War over 45 years ago," Fogerty said in the statement, via "Rolling Stone." "As an American and a songwriter, I am proud that the song still has resonance. I do believe that its meaning gets misinterpreted and even usurped by various factions wishing to make their own case. What a great country we have that a song like this can be performed in a setting like Concert for Valor." -
Taylor Swift Label Head Says She Made Less Than $500K Last Year on Spotify
Taylor Swift pulled her catalogue from Spotify last week, and the streaming giant's co-founder Daniel Elk responded earlier this week saying that the 1989 songstress would have made $6 million from Spotify streaming by the end of the year. Now Swift's label boss, Scott Borchetta, is claiming in an interview with TIME that last year his label only made $496,044 from her domestic Spotify streams, a number drastically smaller than what Elk suggested they could expect this year. According to a Spotify representative, the global payout last year was $2 million.
