It's Christmas. You need gifts for the music fans in your life. Plus you're feeling more charitable than usual (stats indicate that charitable donations are up 90 percent from 2012's "Giving Tuesday"). Charitybuzz might have something sitting around that you may be interested in. The benefits: A) They're awesome. B) All sales benefit various charities, so you can feel good about indulging. Music Times looked over what's available and compiled a shortlist of best bets. But be warned, all these auctions are limited time only.
  • The Doors premiere 'Ray Remembered' clip on updated iPad app [WATCH]

The Doors have released the first official update to their iPad app, which the band launched earlier this year, according to Rolling Stone. The updated version, titled "The Doors," includes unpublished photos and album art as well music and rare concert and interview footage. It also features drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Krieger's first interview together in more than a decade in honor of the late Ray Manzarek, who died earlier this year.
  • Billboard Holiday Chart features mostly classic holiday hits, Ariana Grande's 'Love Is Everything' debuts at No. 15

Christmastime is here once again! As millions of Americans take to their laptops and cars en route to the mall, one thing is inevitable: holiday music. Thus, Billboard has once again reinstated their annual Holiday 100, the ultimate list of the year's biggest Christmas songs.
  • Angel Olsen's new music video: 'Forgiven/Forgotten'

We recently announced Angel Olsen's new record Burn Your Fire For No Witness will be coming out February 18th, 2014 under Jagjaguwar. Along with the announcement was a sneak preview to her new song "Forgiven/Forgotten." Now an official music video for the song is released, and you can watch it here.
  • NME's Best Albums List invoke Arctic Monkeys, Queens of The Stone Age and (surprise!) Kanye West

We've already spread the word on what two of the biggest names in music media, Rolling Stone and SPIN, have been listening to during 2013. But what about our friends across the pond? NME has joined in the end of the year fun, releasing its own list of the Top 50 albums of the year. The bad news is that you have to buy the issue to get the full list (looks like those Brits are trying to generate a profit, something the rest of us music media types have given up on), but they were kind enough to share their Top 3 to the general public.

  • Watch the premiere of Lana Del Rey's short film 'Tropico' featuring the songs 'Body Electric,' 'Gods and Monsters' and 'Bel Air'

Lana Del Rey's new 27-minute short film Tropico just premiered on VEVO. It is more or less a drawn-out music video that features LDR and male model Shaun Ross as lovers in a series of connected vignettes. Directed by Anthony Mandler, the video features the songs "Body Electric," "Gods and Monsters," and "Bel Air" from the singer's Paradise Edition of Born to Die.

  • Gucci Mane announces a new Christmas album amid possible prison sentence

We know, right? We apologize in advance for very intentionally misleading you with this headline. Unfortunately, rapper Gucci Mane will not be releasing a compilation of Christmas classics.
  • Michael Jackson estate files papers for retrial in wrongful death lawsuit against AEG

When you invest as much time as the Jackson family did with its wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live (and when you aim for a payout upwards of $40 billion), you don't take losing your case sitting down. Hence it shouldn't be too surprising when lawyers filed legal papers on Monday for Katherine Jackson (Michael Jackson's mother) and the pop star's three children, calling for a retrial.
  • Lana Dey Rey announces second LP title, 'Ultraviolence': 'Born to Die' follow-up due out sometime in 2014

Even though Lana Del Rey said earlier this year that she has a lack of inspiration for a follow-up to her 2012 hit album Born to Die, it seems like that statement was little more than a red herring. Last night (Dec. 4) while at the premiere of her short film Tropico in Hollywood, the "Summertime Sadness" singer revealed the name of her second LP.
