Three alleged unreleased Lady Gaga songs have shocked her fans because they think this might be related to her next musical era. An account under her government name, Stefani Germanotta, appeared on music streaming platforms, but could this be really the pop star?

According to Variety, two supposed released songs titled "Perfect Illusion" and "Fashion," and another unreleased one called "Retro Physical" have been the talk of Little Monsters over the past few days as the mysterious profile suddenly appeared online.

What's confusing about this is the artist profile has been verified by several streaming platforms. Its display picture features an old photo of Lady Gaga herself from her "The Fame" era.

Per the outlet, these songs were uploaded by an entity called UnreleasedSongs who also claimed the copyright.

As of this writing, the identity behind the account still remains a mystery and the songs are still up on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and more.

Stefani Germanotta Account Debunked

The outlet reported that the song "Fashion" is being listed as a demo but it is a sped-up version. Although it was previously released under the official soundtrack of the film "Confessions of a Shopaholic."

Regarding the demo of "Perfect Illusion," there have been fans who suggested that this might be a work of artificial intelligence or AI, but most of Lady Gaga's fans remember that the track was released as a prank by another fan in 2016 ahead of the original song.

Neither Lady Gaga nor her management have yet to confirm whether the Stefani Germanotta profile is a marketing move or someone posing as the singer.

Variety stated that this type of uploads are common in different music streaming platforms as there have been people who illegally publish leaked songs by artists and it is a big problem for these apps.

Insiders claim that there are over 125,000 songs every day or even more that have made it to music streaming platforms.

Is Lady Gaga Releasing Music Anytime Soon?

Lady Gaga has yet to confirm when her new music is coming out, but fans can expect new songs from her around the release of her movie "Joker: Folie à Deux," which is a musical. The film will be released on October 4, 2024.

Earlier this year, fans rejoiced as the singer shared photos of herself working on a record studio, seemingly recording new songs, but she never shared any details regarding its release date.
