Weezer's new album Everything Will Be Alright In The End will be out Oct. 7, and it looks like the boys are hitting the road in support of their ninth studio release.

The 13-date tour will have the band starting in California on Oct. 2 and ending in Florida on Dec. 7. Weezer also shared a new track today titled "The British Are Coming," which Music Times'  Carolyn Menyes called an "explosive and epic track" and "a pure nugget of guitar-driven alternative goodness." The new track follows previously released tunes "Cleopatra" and "Back to the Shack."

Recently at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas, frontman Rivers Cuomo spoke to Billboard about the new album calling it, "complex and heavy, but not too metal. It still sounds like Weezer. Super-melodic, guitar solos, interesting lyrics." Bassist Scott Shriner added that the record also contained elements of prog-rock. "We wanted to make a very deep album, an album that would be a classic, and that all our fans and us could grow old with. And we knew it would take some time, so we just said we're gonna spend these few years and do what it takes to achieve our goal," Cuomo said.

The band's 2010 release, Hurley, their first on an indie label, received three stars from Rolling Stone. "In perfect contrarian fashion, Hurley is their most "corporate" record ever," Jon Dolan wrote about the album. "Cuomo co-writes with a bevy of A-list song doctors (Linda Perry, Tony Kanal, Desmond Child), and calls in cameos from the Jackass crew and Michael Cera, seemingly just for the hell of it. The result: a Weezer record, some great cornball pop-metal tuneage, some irony, some insanity."
