"The British Are Coming!" "The British Are Coming!" and Weezer is coming out with a new album, meaning more new music from the alt-rock mainstays should have been expected. Today (Sept. 23), the "Back to the Shack" band released the fourth single from its upcoming album Everything Will Be Alright In The End, the explosive and epic track "The British Are Coming."

After an anthemic, marching call to arms at the song's open, "The British Are Coming" quickly slides into a pure nugget of guitar-driven alternative goodness. Over relaxed acoustic guitars, Rivers Cuomo is as relaxed as ever, tying together Revolutionary War anthems with whatever sure metaphor he is tying to his life.

But, of course, that's not all. "The British Are Coming" also features plenty of old school Weezer guitar solos, with soaring high notes decorating the smooth sailing backing music. In the same vein as previously released Everything Will Be Alright In The End music, Weezer is all about pleasing the fans and returning to their 1990s glory days, and it's happened once again.
