Carrie Underwood performs the National Anthem at her husband Mike Fisher's hockey game. Her performance on Sunday was one of her recent appearances following her freak accident last year.

The 35-year-old singer was photographed wearing Fisher's Predators jersey while singing "Star-Spangled Banner." Underwood belted out her high notes with ease while at the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Before Underwood's performance, the American Idol winner was introduced by the announcer.

"She's a beloved music superstar, but today she's a proud hockey fan and a number one Preds fan. Please welcome, Carrie Underwood," said the announcer.

After her performance, Underwood stayed at the arena until the game between the Nashville Predators and the Winnipeg Jets wrapped up. Unfortunately for Underwood and Fisher, the Winnipeg Jets won with a score of 5 to 4.

Carrie Underwood's Freak Accident

In November, Underwood told her millions of fans that she had suffered from a nasty fall in her home in Nashville. Following the accident, she received 40 to 50 stitches on her face. She also said that she broke her wrist.

Last month, she updated her fans on her recovery and said that she is 90 percent healed. She also said that her face is healing nicely.

Instead of focusing on what she missed out on since the accident, Underwood has talked about discovering the silver lining. She said that she got to spend more time with her 3-year-old son Isaiah.

"I've been calling it 'forced relaxation.' Sometimes I think things happen in order to make us slow down," wrote Underwood.

Carrie Underwood's New Song, Album, Tour

In April, Underwood also dropped her new song "Cry Pretty." She said that the track is all about the inability to control a person's emotions.

"It really speaks to a lot of things that happened in the past year and I hope when you hear it, you can relate those feelings to those times in your life. It's emotional. It's real. And it ROCKS!" said Underwood.

Other than her new song, Underwood is also gearing up for her upcoming tour, which will be in support of her forthcoming full-length album. However, details about her music project and shows are still kept under wraps.

The singer's last album was released in 2015. Storyteller featured the songs "Renegade Runaway," "Dirty Laundry," "Church Bells," "Heartbeat," "Smoke Break," "Choctaw Country Affair," "Like I'll Never Love You Again," "Chaser," "Relapse," "Clock Don't Stop," "The Girl You Think I Am," "Mexico," and "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted."
