• Jack White's Third Man Records to Release 'The Hateful Eight' Soundtrack on Vinyl

    Quentin Tarantino's latest western film, 'The Hateful Eight', will have its 4-side, 28-song soundtrack released on vinyl via Jack White's record label, Third Man Records. White recently revealed plans to open a vinyl pressing plant in Detroit while opening another Third Man store in the singer's hometown over Thanksgiving weekend.

She can now add a donation of $50,000 to the Seattle Symphony Orchestra to her long list of contributions, including a donation of 25,000 books to New York City high schools, $50,000 to young Swifties fighting against cancer and $15,000 to an injured family of a firefighter.

The pre-sale was organized by Songkick, an artist discovery platform that recently melded with the direct-to-fan ticketing company Crowdsurge over the summer. Her pre-sale for tickets sold out in a little over four hours on her artist website.

    With many Record Store Day exclusive records and limited edition releases, Pink Floyd dodged the holiday madness and decided to sneakily release their own six-song, limited edition EP, '1965-The First Recordings', without fanfare or warning that the release was on the way. The psychedelic, experimental rock group assembled the collection from early song recordings captured just ahead of their debut studio album, 1967's 'The Pipers at the Gates of Dawn'.
