Adele's record-breaking single may have just come out a little over a week ago, but that didn't stop British rockers The Maccabees from covering the song on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. "Hello" broke records across the world, rocketing to the No. 1 slot on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming the first single to ever sell at least 1 million downloads in a week. So the song must have seemed like an obvious choice for The Maccabees when the band was asked to cover a song for the Radio 1 program, which specializes in new and fun covers of current pop hits. -
Bucharest Fire Nightclub Owners Arrested On Manslaughter Charges
The owners of the Bucharest nightclub that caught fire and killed 31 individuals and injured nearly 200 others have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. The blaze set in the Romanian nightclub Colectiv caught fire when a heavy metal band Goodbye to Gravity were performing and pyrotechnics ignited flammable foam insulations next to the stage. The death toll was initially 27, but has risen to 31 with many individuals inside sustaining very serious injuries and still others remain in hospitals in critical condition for smoke inhalation and stampede-related injuries. -
