Last night, Pharrell stopped by The Tonight Show to talk to Jimmy Fallon about the fact that he owes some of his success in the industry to the many artists who came before him. Possibly in reference to his current controversy with Marvin Gaye's family, he acknowledged that a R&B duo from the '80s was one of his biggest inspirations. Fallon just so happened to be a fan of theirs as well. Their names were Afro & Deziak, and they used to appear on the show American Power Hour. Fallon said he dug "through a cage full of tapes down in the basement" and found a clips of their performances. And what do ya know? They looked a lot like the "Happy" singer and Tonight Show host. -

Future Music Festival Canceled: Australian Event Headlined by Drake, Avicii, 2 Chainz Says Goodbye
No, this is not some cruel post-April Fool's Day joke -- this is the real thing. Late last night, April 1, or this afternoon, April 2, for our Australian friends, Mushroom Group's largest festival Future Music Festival announced that it was canceling the long-standing dance music event. In a short Facebook post, the festival made the announcement reasoning that continuing the event "simply doesn't make financial sense anymore." The event, headlined by the likes of Drake, Avicii, 2 Chainz and The Prodigy, has called it quits after 10 years. -
