• Snoop Dogg Stars In Super Bowl Commercial For Eat24 Alongside Gilbert Gottfried [WATCH]

    Nowadays, you don't have to wait until Super Bowl Sunday to watch those highly anticipated commercials. They're been surfacing online all week. It's really such a weird concept that we try to skip commercials every other day of the year but we tune in especially for them during the Super Bowl - but I digress. The latest celebrity-featuring commercial comes courtesy of Snoop Dogg and Gilbert Gottfried to promote a new food app called Eat24. The app brands itself to be a "food truck in your pants" and works to combat hangur.

    Yesterday Music Times reported that Woody Allen would be reprising his role as the director for Gianni Schicci, an opera by Puccini, and that Placido Domingo would star in the lead role to open the Los Angeles Opera's 2015-'16 season. Allen is far from the first director to be a fan of opera but he is one of the few who have bucked up and attempted to direct their own renditions of orchestral classics. Here are six other big names to try their hand at the theatre, including Roman Polanski and Julie Taymor among others.

    Atlanta rapper ILoveMakonnen has shared a remix of his song "21st Street" featuring a new verse from Snoop Dogg, which you can check out below. The song originally appeared on Makonnen's 2014 mixtape Drink More Water 3, and again on Drink More Water 4, and according to XXL, this new remix was promised last year, when Makonnen shared its artwork (seen up above) through his Twitter account. The track features some pretty solid atmospheric production courtesy of DJ Spinz and Dun Deal, but Snoop is the real star here, delivering his verse with the same type of precise yet still relaxed flow that he's famous for.

    One of the most important acts in electronic music, Kraftwerk are the subject of a new documentary by BBC Four, a TV channel operated by the BBC. Titled "Kraftwerk: Pop Art," the documentary takes a deeper look into the pioneering German electronic music group's eight-day residency at London's Tate Art Gallery. The residency, or exhibit, titled "Kraftwerk -- The Catalogue 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8," was a "chronological exploration of the group's sonic and visual experiments and presents eight classic master works from across their celebrated repertoire with spectacular 3D visualizations and effects," according to the show description.

    The Who turned 50 recently, and they are celebrating with an exhaustive world tour and a recently announced reissue of their entire catalog on vinyl. According to the band's website, all 11 studio albums will be back in stores March 24, completely remastered with original album artwork. Fans can relive classics like "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia" in addition to a bonus, two-LP version of the group's "The Who Hits 50!" greatest hits collection.

    R&B singer The-Dream has shared the music video for his single "That's My S**t" featuring T.I., which you can check out below. The video finds The-Dream visiting some sort of weird, "Eyes Wide Shut" sex party with women in masks, while T.I. is playing dice back in his study. It may be misogynist, but at least it looks pretty different from your typical R&B/hip-hop music video.

    The Jay Z-Funkmaster Flex beef has cooled off somewhat, but that does not mean it has gone away entirely. There were some pretty serious accusations thrown out there by Funkmaster Flex, including that Jay Z does not let anybody play Dipset at the 40/40 Club and HOV had used an interview for his website "lifeandtimes.com" as a rouse to try and get information on building an app. Jay has not commented on the situation yet and probably will not for some time, if ever, as his former manager and business partner Dame Dash discussed the situation in a recent interview, saying that Jay was too corporate to respond.
