• Chief Keef Shares New Song "Voodoo" [LISTEN]

Although he dropped a new song "Hiding" only yesterday, Jan. 27, Chicago drill star Chief Keef is back with yet another new track titled "Voodoo," which you can check out below. This time around, the production is handled by KC Beatz, who gives the track a better beat than what we normally hear on a Keef track, opting to go the atmospheric route with a trap beat underneath. Perhaps inspired by the better-than-usual beat, Keef actually makes an effort to be somewhat coherent in his delivery -- or, as "Hot New Hip-Hop" puts it -- the lyrics "verge on intelligible."
  • Run the Jewels Share "Lie, Cheat, Steal" Music Video [WATCH]

Hip-hop duo Run the Jewels have shared the music video for their song "Lie, Cheat, Steal," which you can check out below. The Ruffmercy-directed clip features El-P and Killer Mike simply rapping in front of a graffitied wall, though there is also some intense animation that punctuates every beat with flashes of red, which makes for quite a visually unique video.
  • Sónar 2015 Lineup: Skrillex, FKA twigs, Flying Lotus, Die Antwoord Added

Sónar Festival just got a lot bigger with a second batch of artists that have been added to its 2015 lineup. The legendary Barcelona, Spain-based festival has added 32 names to its roster of artists, and it did not skimp on the acts. Sticking to the mission of keeping away from your typical commercial acts, Sónar added names like Jamie xx, Maya Jane Coles, Die Antwoord, Flying Lotus and FKA twigs to the roster. Not afraid to push boundaries, Sónar has tabbed Skrillex as one of its Phase 2 headliners, which caused quite a stir the first time around, but now not many will raise a fuss this time because hating on Skrillex has largely gone out of style.
  • Katy Perry & Lenny Kravitz's "Leaked" Super Bowl Song Surfaces Courtesy Of Tim Heidecker [LISTEN]

Katy Perry's Super Bowl song featuring Lenny Kravitz has leaked. By song, we mean fake song, and by leaked we mean purposely released as a joke. The song actually comes from Tim Heidecker, the Tim and Eric franchise comedian, who is known for his Super Bowl halftime show "leaks." As Billboard notes, last year he dropped the unintelligible "Abracadabralifornia" ahead of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Super Bowl halftime appearance, and in 2012 he leaked a "Madonna" song that featured a terrible impersonator scatting and singing vague things about football.
  • Sam Smith Discusses Taylor Swift, Frank Sinatra & Being an Old Soul in New 'GQ' Interview

Sam Smith is nothing if not an old soul. Not only is his debut album In The Lonely Hour an instant classic, with heartbreaking anthems like "Stay With Me" and "I'm Not The Only One," but he's got an elegance about him that seems like it's from another era - and he's aware of that. In a new interview with GQ, Smith opens up about his desire for another time, strive for perfection and his surprising love for one very modern pop star, Taylor Swift.
  • The War on Drugs Frontman Adam Granduciel Discusses Sun Kil Moon Feud, New Music

One of the strangest and funniest music feuds in recent memory was the -- mostly -- one-sided battle between Sun Kil Moon and The War on Drugs from last year, throughout which War on Drugs frontman Adam Granduciel tried his best to take the high road and remain silent about the whole thing. Now, in a new interview with "Uncut," Granduciel has opened up a bit more about the feud, telling Sun Kil Moon frontman Mark Kozelek to "get over" himself and suggesting that Kozelek was perhaps "playing this part" instead of being genuinely outraged.
  • Fall Out Boy and Meghan Trainor Set January Mark with New Albums on Billboard 200, while Taylor Swift Stays Comfortable

Fall Out Boy and a slew of other new albums broke the dam and brought forth a flood of debuts back onto the Billboard 200 after the holiday sales lull. That band's American Beauty/American Psycho premiered at no. 1 with 218,000 equivalent albums sold, and its 192,000 actual album sales teamed with Meghan Trainor's debut last week for the first pair of albums released during January to top 150,000 apiece since 2010. American Beauty marked a significant uptick in sales from the band's 2013 album Save Rock and Roll.
