Unveiled ahead of its upcoming march 1st release date, "King" shows the maturation of a group growing into the spotlight that is shining brighter on them every day. As premiered by Buzzfeed, "King" has all of the synth-pop lushness one would expect from the "Desire" trio, coupled with superb songwriting all brought to life in a well-choreographed video done by Sia choreographer Ryan Heffington.

According to Pitchfork, the album is set for release on March 24 through Mom + Pop, and is a concept album about New York City, "a chronicle of grit and terror and love."

In November, Alana Haim uploaded a photo of Danielle Haim on guitar with the caption "S S Studio." Now a new photo has surfaced, confirming that the band is recording with producer Ariel Rechtshaid. Este Haim posted the photo, which features Rechtshaid hard at work on a computer with a poster of David Bowie in the background. "Here we go again everybody," she wrote in the caption. "Uh ohz." Looks like new music is officially underway.
