• Joe Satriani Wants to Make More Chickenfoot Albums; Other Members Don't Seem to Care

    Chickenfoot is perhaps the most impressive supergroup still technically "active," but they have not put out any new material in more than three years.Guitarist Joe Satriani wants to change that and says he has been trying to get Sammy Hagar, Chad Smith and Michael Anthony back on the saddle."I'm always that guy that's bugging them," he told VH1, via Blabbermouth. "I think I drive them crazy because I'm always writing songs, I'm sending them demos and saying, 'C'mon, let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it.'"There is a big roadblock, though."First of all, Sam, Mike and Chad, they've got other things to do. And Chad, of course, is right in the middle of an album project with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and so that's a difficult thing; that's his main band," Satriani said. "And Sam and Mike are now part of Sammy's band [The Circle], and they have a schedule. And then Sammy, along with all of his businesses, both for profit and for charity, is also extremely busy."So I come back from being around the world and touring and doing this stuff, and I'm, like, 'C'mon, let's go. Let's go.' And they're, like, 'Well, hold on a minute.' And then I'm off again. So I guess I'm partly to blame because of my busy schedule."

League on his side in a series of now-deleted tweets that, among many things, said: Cosby was one of the "top 10 black people" in earth's history.Continuing that train of thought, someone on the account claims "He gets a pass" and one of Cosby's alleged victims Janice Dickinson, via "CBS News," "isn't even top 10 in any category."The production trio reminds Twitter that Cosby has not been convicted yet and he has only been ostracized in the court of public opinion:"Might I remind you, there's never been a conviction of Bill Cosby. Only a Twitter conviction"Making sure to have their moral bases covered when defending an alleged rapist, the trio distanced themselves from the act itself: "We don't condone rape, but we also don't condone accusing an innocent American of rape with no conviction."
