Sleater-Kinney reunited last night in Portland after almost ten years, thanks to Pearl Jam. Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein, and Janet Weiss joined the band at Portland's Moda Center during the finale to cover Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World." R.E.M.'s Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey joined the gang as well. -

RED, the organization created to combat AIDS in Africa co-founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, is once again taking advantage of the popularity of dance music by partnering with the Stereosonic Festival in Sydney, Australia for the second year. World AIDS Day is Dec. 1 and the event is available to livestream from Saturday through Sunday. -
