  • The xx go to Facebook to oppose their song being used in a political ad against same sex marriage

English indie rock band The xx have issued a statement on Facebook explaining its disapproval of Croatian political organization U ime obitelji using the song "Intro" in an advertisement that speaks against same-sex marriage. The band did not agree for the organization to use the song, and now they are making it clear that the members are not affiliated.
  • Enya 'Only Time' returns to Hot 100 after Volvo commercial stuns and goes viral [WATCH]

An odd song has made its return to the Billboard Hot 100 this week: Enya's 2000 classic "Only Time." Why has the slow-burning new age track returned to the charts 13 years later, with a No. 43 slot? The answer is one super viral video courtesy of Volvo and the impressive legs of Jean Claude Van Damme.
  • The National and 'Bob's Burgers' team up again for a gravy-filled new video

Brooklyn rockers The National have teamed up with Fox's comedy Bob's Burgers to create a video just in time for the gravy-filled holidays, "Sailors in Your Mouth." The Thanksgiving episode aired last week. Believe it or not the video isn't entirely funny. It has its moments, but it's actually just kind of trippy. It's bizarrely entrancing, as the band (in the form of gravy) spill out of the gravy boat, captained by frontman Matt Berninger.
  • Randy Phillips, CEO of AEG Live, out after busy year featuring Michael Jackson trial

It was a tumultuous year for AEG Live, to say the least. But at the end of the (long) day, it seemed that the world's second largest concert promoter had come out unscathed. Perhaps not, based on the recent removal of CEO Randy Phillips.
  • Morrissey is not cool with Obama's annual Thanksgiving turkey pardon

Morrissey is not hesitant to share his thoughts and feelings about animal rights. This time he's addressing President Obama directly about the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Pardon. Since Thanksgiving in 1989 when George H. W. Bush was in office, a "presidential pardon" is given to one bird, allowing it to live. It does seem like a bizarre tradition, but for Morrissey, it's way more than that.
  • Fanfarlo's 'Let's Go Extinct' out in February: Electric sneak peek trailer

Fanfarlo has announced their new album Let's Go Extinct will be released February 11th, 2014. It's a little bit of a wait so the London band has put out a sneak peek trailer.
  • Billy Joel will make a 'historic announcement' next week at Madison Square Garden

Billy Joel announced that he will hold a press conference at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 3 where he will reveal an "exclusive and historic announcement." No one seems to know what the news will be, and Joel and MSG are keeping their mouths shut. Fuse, the MSG Network and BillyJoel.com will broadcast the announcement live that day.
  • Eminem's 'The Monster' and Lorde's 'Royals' still biggest names on Digital Downloads Charts

Album sales may have been down over on the Billboard 200, but singles downloads continued to be hot over on the Digital Downloads charts. The Top 10 sold a combined 5,000 more downloads than last week-a slight rise-but still impressive considering the recent increase in mp3 sales.
  • Jonas Brothers release five final songs following break up: 'Wedding Bells,' 'Neon,' 'Found' and more get production-heavy makeover in studio versions [LISTEN]

It's been almost a month since the Jonas Brothers have announced their break up and it's been nearly two months since they suddenly scrapped their fall tour date plans. Shortly after the "First Time" band's split, the JoBros announced their planned album V would never see release. However, to thank their fans for the years of support, the Jonases have released five songs that would have made the album to their Team Jonas fanbase today.
  • Eminem premieres 'Rap God' music video [WATCH]

Eminem has just premiered the music video for his latest single "Rap God" off his latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. In keeping with the nostalgic theme of the album, the video pays tribute to the fictional '80s TV character Max Headroom.
  • Eminem back on top of Billboard 200, Five Finger Death Punch debuts big, Lady Gaga drops off

For the first time in a while, we haven't had a huge album drop. No offense meant to Five Finger Death Punch, but we've just gotten so used to pop stars and rappers dropping blockbuster albums during October and November that this week seemed a little tame. So that left the door open for one of...
