    You guys, it's okay. Kanye West didn't flip out over the Seth Rogen/James Franco shot-for-shot parody of his "Bound 2" video, dubbed "Bound 3." In fact, he thought it was hilarious. Phew.
  • Clear Channel and CMT enter partnership amid growth of country music market

    Based entirely on the number of hits we get writing about various genres of music, we can attest that the country market is one of the most active in both the consumption of music and media coverage related to that genre. Clear Channel Communications must've noticed the same thing because they just announced a deal with cable television network CMT. The partnership will involve the two companies developing and sharing programming together.

    Lead singer Ron Reyes has been fired from Black Flag, Consequence of Sound reports. He announced his departure in a letter posted to Facebook (it has been removed) saying that he was fired on stage during a concert in Australia. He alleges that his bandmate Greg Ginn's friend and professional skateboarder Mike Vallely came on stage with two songs left in the set, took the mic and said "You're done, party's over get off it's over."
